Some Issues Encountered

uncomfortable bed shower privacy
The initial greeting was not cute. it reminded me of i was bothering the owner upon arrival. i booked a double room, but it felt smaller than expected. the bed really wasn't comfortable and i could hear kitchen noise early in the morning. also the shower room window offered no privacy. The blind stayed closed.

The location was pretty central, a couple of minutes walk to the town centre sufficed.
I checked in using a door code because the owners were unavailable. I checked out the next day without seeing anyone, how antisocial

the location was acceptable, being a short walk to the town centre.
Finding someone for assistance proved difficult. I never saw any staff. the noise from the kitchen starting very early each morning was quite disruptive.

charming stay

spacious room modern bathroom convenient location
I found the room quite spacious and spotlessly clean. the modern bathroom was a definite plus, complete with a powerful shower. i appreciated the shared lounge and fridge.. it was very handy. the location was perfect. It was convenient to the ferry and a large supermarket.
the lack of breakfast was a slight disappointment, as it wasn't included.
Rooms
9/10
my twin room offered comfortable beds and a tidy, clean environment. i especially appreciated the sizable bathroom, with both a standalone shower and a full-size bath. lots of plug sockets made charging devices easy.
Dining
8/10
though breakfast wasn't on-site, i found a fabulous place called 'beckett and sons' right across the street. many restaurants are within very close proximity to the guest house. it made dining options quite convenient.
Location
10/10
the location proved amazing, placing me centrally with just a couple minutes' walk to the town centre. this made exploring the area easy and accessible. it was also a great location for both the ferry and bus station.
Service
9/10
the people managing the guest house were not always on site, yet they remained helpful over the phone. they addressed my needs promptly and efficiently. nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
